Military operations in Ukraine prompted both business-related decisions and a number of initiatives based on purely human empathy and desire to help.
In the first days of the conflict, Global Cosmed decided to immediately withdraw the sale of products manufactured in its factories to entities based on the territory of Russia and Belarus. The company informed its shareholders and the public about the impact of the situation on its day-to-day management, order execution, and supply value chain continuity.
The business measures were accompanied by humanitarian activities to provide real and tangible assistance. We joined the efforts of local communities we work in on a daily basis. Thanks to the cooperation with the Jawor commune, we contributed to the transport of household and bathroom cleaning products, cosmetic products for children and adults, and other necessary items by convoy to Berdyczów and Lviv in Ukraine. We also donated necessary cleaning products, washing powders and liquids to Ukrainian families coming to Radom and staying under the care of the municipal office.
Employees were also actively involved in helping. We thank our colleagues from Radom who held the collection of towels, hairbrushes, underwear, and blankets. They were distributed, as good-start packages, to 50 families brought by fate to the city.
Each of the company’s employees, regardless of the location in which they work, can count on in-kind support for their guests. In this way, we want to support those who open their hearts and homes to refugees in need of shelter and a sense of security.
We will keep you informed about the company’s actions and decisions associated with the war in Ukraine through MAR information (in the Investor Relations section on our website) and on Global Cosmed’s profile on LinkedIn.
